About the Tandem Flights
What’s a flight experience with Flyeo like?
Step 1: Check-in
You meet us at our FLYEO office (15 minutes before your booking time!) — or directly at the take-off, if you’ve arranged this with our team.
Step 2: The ride to take-off
Our top driver will drive you to the launch point on our mini-bus. On the way there, you’ll meet your pilot, get a safety briefing and you can ask any questions you have.
Step 3: Ready for take-off…?
Once arrived on the take-off carpet, you’ll get ready with your pilot. This is the big moment!
Step 4: Breathe…and fly
During the flight, your pilot will check in with you regularly to make sure you’re enjoying the ride.
Step 5: Memories to last a lifetime
After landing, you can get the photos/videos from your flight, and lastly we’ll bring you back to the office!
Are photos and videos included?
You can purchase the photo and video package on-site. All footage is captured using gear made for this kind of flight, with full safety in mind.
For safety reasons, you can’t use your own camera or phone during the flight.
Is there a weight or age limit?
For safety reasons and to ensure smooth flights, our passengers must be in good physical condition and be able to run a few steps for take-off.
Each flight is subject to specific weight restrictions. It is important to follow them for your safety and that of the pilot.
Afternoon flights have a maximum weight of 110 kg.
Minimum age: 3 years old, with parental consent.
Maximum age: There isn’t one!
Can I fly if I have a medical condition or a disability?
This is generally not a problem, but it is best to contact us in advance to confirm. In some cases, a medical opinion and approval from your doctor may be required.
However, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pregnant women, recent fractures, and people with epilepsy, for precautionary and safety reasons.
Can I choose the type of flight (chill vs acro)?
Absolutely. We offer relaxed, scenic or acrobatic flights. You choose your style when booking.
When is the best time of year to fly?
April to October is the prime flying season in Annecy, but we fly all year round!
What if the weather is bad?
As an outdoor activity, we are weather-dependent. In fact, it is the main variable in our sport.
Our pilots assess the weather conditions each morning before the flights: this is when we can make the most accurate decisions.
Safety always comes first. If conditions aren’t right for the flights, we’ll let you know and reschedule your flight at no additional cost.
We recommend staying flexible with your schedule in case your activity needs to be postponed.

What to Bring & How to Prepare
What should I wear?
Closed shoes (like sneakers), no sandals or open-toed shoes.
We recommend dressing according to the day’s weather and temperature (word of advice: it’s always chiller at altitude than on the ground!).
We always advise at least a windbreaker or light sweater, and sunglasses.
Can I use my phone or camera during the flight?
This is not allowed for safety reasons. If you’d like footage, we offer HD photo and video packages you can purchase on-site.
You are welcome to bring your phone with you on the activity, but it will have to safely stay in the pilot’s bag or your closed pocket while in flight.
(The only device we allow is a GoPro strapped to the chest. This is always subject to the pilot’s approval, though.)
Do I need to arrive early?
Yes, you must arrive 15 minutes before your booking time for check-in.
Where do flights take off? And where do you land? Is transport included?
We take off from Col de la Forclaz.
We land in Doussard, at the official FFVL Paragliding Landing site.
Shuttle service from our base to the take-off point is included, and so is the return journey from the landing to Flyeo.
Transport to Flyeo is not included (if you require a private transfer service, please contact us directly for a quote).
Can I leave my belongings at Flyeo?
You can safely leave your belongings, bags or suitcases at our office while you fly, under the watchful eyes from team.
Can my family or friends see me taking-off or landing?
For sure! We always recommend the landing:
- If they want to see you take-off:

They need to allow at least 45 min from our base to reach the take-off carpet (25 min drive up + 20 min walk up). Caution! This is a very steep walk up.
They need to drop you off at Flyeo at least 45 min before your booking time. - If they want to see you land:

Just 5 min away from our office!
Our ground team will be able to indicate what time to expect you and how to recognise you.
Important points to remember:
– Unfortunately, we cannot take extra guests with us on the shuttle.
– Only on Prestige flights can accompanying people see both take-off and landing.
– It is possible that the pilot decides to change the landing site during the flight for safety reasons, if the wind/weather conditions require it. The ground team usually learns of it after the landing.

What’s included in the flight price?
Tandem flight, insurance, internal transport and your professional guide. Photo/video packages are extra.
How do I book for multiple people?
You can book several flights in one order. We also welcome group bookings. If your group has 8+ people wanting to fly at the same time, get in touch so we can organize it.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
No stress, no hassle. If you need to reschedule, let us know at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll sort a new date for you. If you cancel later, charges will apply. Please review our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
If weather gets in the way, we’ll move your booking at no extra cost.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit cards, debit cards and mobile payments. 100% secure.
HOW TO GET TO FLYEO
📍Meeting point: FLYEO – 646 route du Couardet, 74210 Doussard
🚗 By car: Parking available on-site.
🚍 By bus: Buses from Annecy Bus Station (next to the train station).
You must take the Y51 bus. (Timetable here). Make sure to have cash ready or to buy your ticket online.
Our stop is Doussard Ancienne Gare. It is then a 11 min walk to our offices (please walk on the bike path to stay safe).
🚲 By bike: We are located next to the Lake Annecy Green Way (cycling path).
Think of renting a bike (electric or regular) to come to us, it’s an exhilarating way to discover the place!
